Apple loyalists, take note: the first two iPhone 18’s are set to launch in the UAE next week. Apple announced at its reveal on Wednesday September 9 that the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will go on pre-sale on Saturday September 12, with availability beginning Friday, September 18. Apple has not given a timeline for the launch of its regular iPhone model 18 model. Here’s everything we know so far about the iPhone 18 UAE launch The first two models, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max will become available in the UAE at the same time as Apple’s global rollout. Pre-sale begins from Saturday September 12, with phones available from Friday, September 18. Prices for the iPhone 18 Pro start at Dh5,099, and iPhone 18 Pro Max starts at Dh5,499. Both models are available in 256GB, 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB storage capacities. iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are available in four colours: black, silver, glacier, and an all-new burgundy. The iPhone 18 features the most advanced pro camera in iPhone history. The new 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture is the most advanced camera Apple has ever made, bringing aperture control to iPhone for the first time along with even more creative control. Another key feature is the much improved battery life and performance. The iPhone 18 Pro Max in particular delivers the largest increase in battery life ever, which Apple credits to advancements in Apple silicon and a larger battery. eSIM-only models deliver up to 36 hours of video playback on iPhone 18 Pro and up to 45 hours of video playback on iPhone 18 Pro Max. iPhone 18 Pro can also charge up to 50 per cent in around 15 minutes, or wirelessly charge up to 50 per cent in 30 minutes. At the same event, Apple unveiled its first-ever foldable iPhone, called the iPhone Duo. Set to be released in two colours, the iPhone Duo is the thinnest iPhone in Apple history, and features two screen panels (plus one on the front of the device) set to create the most immersive screen size ever.
