Selling Sunset’s The Oppenheim Group is opening a Dubai office

Selling Sunset is the smash-hit Netflix real estate reality TV series that’s taken us inside the homes of the rich and famous via their cutthroat agents at The Oppenheim Group since 2019. And now The Oppenheim Group is expanding to Dubai. The Los Angeles-based brokerage, co-founded by Selling Sunset star Jason Oppenheim, has chosen Dubai for its fifth global office, which will join the agency’s current offices which are found in West Hollywood, Newport Beach, San Diego and Cabo San Lucas. Per PEOPLE, Jason Oppenheim described Dubai as “such an important market” and said they’d “be remiss not to do it,” when asked about why Dubai for his next office. “We still want to be a boutique brokerage, but a lot of what we’re selling in Southern California — there’s so much confluence with Dubai, he told PEOPLE. “So many of our clients live in Dubai part-time, or live in Southern California and travel to Dubai.” The Oppenheim Group, now known as The O Group, will open a super-sized 7,000 square foot office in Bluewaters, with sleek interiors and framing views of Ain Dubai. Per renders shared on The O Group’s UAE website, the office looks to be seriously luxe, with double height windows framing sleek desks, refined office spaces, and even a pool table, lounge areas and a marble coffee bar all part of the statement-making interiors. Heading up The O Group Dubai will be Omar Abaza, a long-time friend of Jason Oppenheim, with around 20 agents already part of The O Group Dubai. Jason Oppenheim certainly hopes so. Oppenheim is currently in production for the Neflix show’s 10th season, but tells PEOPLE that filming in Dubai could be a “realistic next step” for Season 11. “I’d love to get out there for our next season of Selling Sunset. I really would,” he says. “I think that’s probably the next step. And then if a show comes out of that, that’d be awesome.”
