A post shared by Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque (@szgmc_ae) If you plan to make a trip to view the religious site, here’s a few things to keep in mind. Visitors to Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque are expected to dress modestly. Clothing should cover the shoulders and knees, with loose-fitting, non-transparent garments recommended. Women are also required to cover their hair when entering the mosque. As per The National, the centre no longer lends abayas to visitors who arrive without suitable clothing, as it did before the COVID-19 pandemic. Visitors can instead buy an abaya for Dhs45 at Souq Al Jami, next to the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque.
