Six DJs and a Saturday night with nowhere to be but the dancefloor. Deep House Bible is taking over Skydive Dubai on November 7, bringing Ahmed Spins, Desiree, Gawdat, Mayssa, Samm and Alex Twin together for an open-air night of house music. Boston to the Pyramids of Giza is quite the journey for a house party. What started as small gatherings between three college friends has grown into Deep House Bible, an international house music platform with events in Portugal, Morocco, Costa Rica, Brazil, New York, Miami and beyond. The idea behind it has stayed simple: everyone deserves to dance. For its Dubai edition, Studio A – the team behind Ushuaïa Dubai Harbour Experience, Be Beach and WHITE Beach – is bringing the party to Skydive Dubai. Casablanca-born Ahmed Spins is at the heart of the lineup, bringing the Afro House, Deep House, House, Disco and Organic sounds that have taken him to Coachella, Circoloco and Voodoo Village. He’ll be joined by South African DJ Desiree, Egyptian duo Gawdat and Miami-based DJ and vocalist Mayssa. Belgian producer Samm – whose Body Language hit number one on Beatport’s House chart – is also playing, with UAE-based DJ and producer Alex Twin completing the lineup. Benny Benassi and MORTEN are coming to Dubai this October There’s a strong MENA thread running through the night, which makes sense given Deep House Bible’s focus on giving artists and dance music from the region a bigger place on the global stage. Add an open-air Skydive Dubai setting and a lineup moving through Deep House, Afro House and beyond, and November 7 is looking like a very good night to keep free.
