Set to land in Dubai this September, FYTE Hospitality – who brought us Kokoro – will debut Hikiniku to Come in Al Quoz. The cult favourite concept from Tokyo lands in Dubai at CMPLX in Al Quoz, and will offer 100% Halal-certified Wagyu beef while staying true to the brand’s Japanese roots. Known across Asia for its highly focused Wagyu Hamburg dining ritual, the concept is built around freshly ground Wagyu patties grilled over custom-built equipment and served in a carefully timed sequence that highlights quality, craft and precision. This is one we can’t wait for. Adding to the ever-impressive array of Michelin-lauded international concepts that have made DIFC home, Gymkhana will debut this September in the city’s financial centre. From JKS, the group also behind the award-winning Berenjak restaurant, Gymkhana will bring the celebrated Indian cuisine that’s given it two Michelin stars in London to DIFC, where we can expect to dine on the same tandoor-cooked meats and flavour-packed curries that have made this bold and flavourful restaurant one of the best in the British capital. A relaxed celebration of La Dolce Vita lands at Uptown Dubai next month with the opening of Rocambolesco. Rooted in the art of bringing people together, it promises a modern and creative approach, lacing Italian flair through a colourful, social space that’s full of character. Whether dining indoors, enjoying a meal out on the alfresco terrace, or catching up with friends over a drink at the bar, it’s set to be the perfect spot for your next catch-up. While the first phase of the restaurant opens this September, a first-floor, dinner-only restaurant will follow as a more formal dining destination later in 2026. Then prepare to make plans around Tora Tora, one of a string of new concepts coming to the soon-to-open First Avenue Mall Jumeirah. Targeting a September opening, this new Japanese ramen house is designed as a social space complete with Instagrammable interiors and a menu of authentic Japanese flavours that extends beyond ramen to also include street food and small plates, as well as a selection of desserts for those with a sweet tooth. Tora Tora will operate entirely on a walk-in basis, with no reservations required. Other restaurants set to debut among Tora Tora’s neighbours include Jon and Vinny’s, Nala and Soraya. Bringing a modern take on Persian cuisine to Downtown this September is Le Guilian. An independent, all-day restaurant overlooking South Ridge Park, it promises to take traditional recipes, ingredients and flavours and reinterpret them through a modern lens, creating a menu that’s familiar in soul and refined in form. A selection of signature dishes will include bread and black butter, a complimentary welcome of freshly baked bread and fermented black garlic butter served on arrival for diners; short ribs with chocolate jus; and saffron French toast, brioche soaked in saffron custard and caramelised to order. Beloved French-Mediterranean fine dining spot Le Petite Maison is stepping into a new era, unveiling a first-of-its-kind all-day dining concept, Le Café LPM at Across H. This Riviera-inspired spot is slated to open netxt month, and it’s all about keeping things simple, flexible and easy to drop into any time of day. Start your morning with coffee and something light, swing by for a laid-back lunch, or settle in later for dinner and drinks. The menu follows that same rhythm, with a mix of breakfast options, lighter daytime plates and a handful of more substantial dishes in the evening. There’ll also be a strong focus on desserts, with a dedicated pâtisserie selection filled with yummy goodies.
