Indians can now enjoy their vacation to the UAE visa-free if they book a three-night stay in Abu Dhabi. The initiative, announced by Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), will cover up to 20,000 visas during the programme’s initial roll out. The programme is available to Indian passport holders departing from India who book an Abu Dhabi holiday through participating travel partners. Eligible bookings must include a minimum stay of three consecutive nights in an Abu Dhabi hotel and a return flight from India. Indian tourists can now save Dhs285, with DCT Abu Dhabi reimbursing or covering the cost directly for travel partners. To avail the offer, travellers must book a minimum three-night stay in Abu Dhabi at partner hotels. The dates at the hotel must be consecutively booked directly with partner hotels or through approved travel agencies. Travellers cannot apply independently for the free-visa offer. The programme has specifically been developed for participating travel partners and online travel agencies, which will facilitate the visa process for eligible bookings. “India continues to be one of our most important international markets, and we remain committed to working closely with our travel partners to make Abu Dhabi even more accessible for Indian travellers,” said Abdulla Yousuf, Director of International Operations at the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi.
