If electronic music is your thing, October 10 is one for the calendar. Benny Benassi and MORTEN are heading to Coca-Cola Arena for the third edition of FREQUENCY 971, with Dubai-based DJ Slim completing the line-up. There’s a good mix happening here. Benny Benassi brings the electro-house sound that has followed him from clubs to some of the world’s biggest festival stages, while MORTEN takes things into Future Rave territory with the high energy sound he developed alongside David Guetta. DJ Slim rounds things out with a homegrown set from Dubai. If Satisfaction instantly started playing in your head, you already know. The 2002 track helped shape the electro-house era and, more than two decades later, remains one of dance music’s most recognisable records. Benassi’s catalogue goes well beyond that one track, though. There’s Cinema, later remixed by Skrillex in a Grammy-winning version, plus collaborations with Madonna, Chris Brown, John Legend, David Guetta and more. He’s also played everywhere from Coachella and EDC to Tomorrowland and Ultra. Your guide to all the DJ gigs in Dubai this year The Danish DJ and producer is closely associated with Future Rave, the sound he pioneered alongside David Guetta. His productions lean heavier and more cinematic, and his collaboration list includes ARTBAT, RAYE, Aloe Blacc and Clementine Douglas. He’s also a Tomorrowland and Ultra regular, so expect this part of the night to go big. FREQUENCY 971 is now in its third edition, and there are several ways to get in. Bronze tickets start at Dhs99, regular standing is Dhs149 and the 21+ Fanpit is Dhs349. For those wanting the premium option, the 21+ Elevate Deck is Dhs750. Where: Coca-Cola Arena, City Walk, Dubai Cost: Dhs99 Bronze; Dhs149 regular standing; Dhs199 Silver; Dhs249 Gold; Dhs299 Diamond; Dhs349 Fanpit standing; Dhs750 Elevate Deck
