British Airways issues major travel update for Dubai travellers

British Airways has issued a major update for those planning to travel to the region with the airline in the coming months. The UK-based airline has confirmed that it continues to pause all flights to Dubai up to and including Saturday October 24, coinciding with the end of its summer schedule. And the latest British Airways advisory has provided greater flexibility for tourists, even if their flight is still scheduled to operate, until the end of October. British Airways customers can request full refunds for tickets scheduled to travel between February 28 and October 31 2026. For travel from June 2, ticket holders may rebook at a later date or onto a different British Airways route without incurring a change fee. A statement on the British Airways website said: “We understand that the continuing situation in the Middle East remains worrying for many of our customers, particularly those planning travel in the months ahead. “Due to ongoing uncertainty and airspace restrictions, some of our flights in the region have been cancelled or temporarily suspended, including services to and from Abu Dhabi, Amman, Bahrain, Doha, Dubai, Tel Aviv, and Riyadh. “To give customers greater peace of mind, we’re extending the flexibility available to those with bookings to these destinations.”
