British Airways is set to resume flights to Dubai from Tuesday November 3, the airline has announced. Initially, British Airways will operate one daily flight between London Heathrow and Dubai, with the service increasing to twice per day from next year. At the same time as confirming the resumption of flights to Dubai, British Airways confirmed that it has cancelled services to Abu Dhabi through until the winter 2027-2028 season. In a statement posted to its website, British Airways said: “Due to the ongoing situation in the Middle East, we have made further changes to our flying schedule to provide greater clarity for our customers.” British Airways suspended flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, as well as the wider Middle East, on February 28, and services have remained cancelled since. The service from London Heathrow to Dubai will take off daily from November 3 at 8.40pm, arriving in Dubai at 7.40am the following day. The return flight departs DXB at 10am, returning to London Heathrow at a local time of 2.10pm. Return fares start from Dhs2,500. A number of international airlines have recently resumed flights to Dubai, including Turkish Airlines and Air France. Wizz Air has also recently confirmed that it will resume services to Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with the low-cost airline flying between the UAE and Budapest, Bucharest, Sofia, Larnaca, Budapest, Katowice, Krakow, and Cluj-Napoca launching from late October.
