Dates announced for landmark Dubai Fitness Challenge 2026

Dubai Fitness Challenge is back – and this year is set to be bigger and better than ever. Marking its landmark 10th edition, Dubai Fitness Challenge will run from October 31 until November 29, 2026, bringing with it 30 days of fun-filled events, free classes and opportunities to get the city moving. Those familiar with the event will be pleased to hear that some of the most beloved events and experiences are returning this year, including Dubai Run – which has previously seen over 200,000 runners take to Sheikh Zayed Road, as well as Dubai Ride, Dubai Stand Up Paddle Board and Dubai Yoga events. This year will also see the popular Fitness Villages return, serving as open-air hubs for free fitness classes, games, giveaways and experiences all designed to keep you active. First launched in 2017 by HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, the citywide fitness festival has expanded from an initiative to get residents doing 30 minutes of exercise for 30 days into a citywide celebration of movement, connection and activity. Cycle with the city on November 1, 2026 as Dubai Ride turns one of the city’s most iconic routes car-free for a 12km spin that takes over iconic highways like Sheikh Zayed Road, spinning you past landmarks like Dubai Opera, Burj Khalifa and Museum of the Future. A 4km Downtown route is also mapped out for families and those new to cycling. For two days on November 7 and 8, Hatta Dam welcomes paddle boarders of all ages and abilities for a free event that pairs paddleboarding fun with dramatic mountain views. Take your place among over 200,000 runners as Dubai Run transforms Sheikh Zayed Road into one of the world’s most iconic running tracks. The free-to-enter event offers both a 5km route through Downtown and an extended 10km track that goes along Sheikh Zayed Road, inviting you to walk, jog or run past some of the city’s most iconic spots. Join Dubai’s biggest sunset yoga sessio n on November 29 as you stretch, breathe and move through the flows at Zabeel Park. Open to beginners and experienced yogis alike, the event brings movement, mindfulness and community together.
