Emirates is introducing privacy screens in Premium Economy

Emirates is introducing yet another world first: the airline’s Premium Economy experience is levelling up with the introduction of full height, adjustable privacy screens. Debuting on Emirates’ new A350 aircrafts, the new Premium Economy seats are the world’s first to be electrically powered, with the adjustable privacy screens positioned between every seat to give an added layer of comfort and personal space to travellers in Premium Economy. A first-of-its-kind feature in Premium Economy cabins globally, the electric privacy divider extends to the full height of the seats in the A350 Premium Economy cabin. The A350 Premium Economy cabin features a 2-3-2 configuration of 28 premium economy seats. Customers can effortlessly raise or lower the divider using the seat controls and lock it into position, creating a more private and personal environment for relaxing, dining or working throughout the flight. It’s yet another move that sees Emirates continue to innovate and invest in new experiences for customers across its cabins. Emirates’ viral adjustable headrest has also now started to roll out in Premium Economy cabins within the A350 fleet. The game-changing U-Dream Headrest is a cushioned, adjustable headrest designed to offer better support and a more relaxing cabin experience. Right now, the U-Dream Headrest has been introduced on three A350 aircrafts, with the airline accelerating the roll-out as quickly as possible. By the end of the year, all A350 aircrafts will have the headrest installed across Economy and Premium Economy.
