A post shared by What’s On Dubai (@) And it’s not the only news for Etihad Rail today. Trips from Sharjah’s Al Dhaid station also commenced today, heading to Abu Dhabi’s Mohamed bin Zayed City Station and Fujairah Station. The 900-kilometre railway will eventually connect communities across the UAE, making travel between major cities and towns quicker and easier. Mohammed bin Zayed City Passenger Train Station in Abu Dhabi Since launching passenger services between Abu Dhabi and Fujairah on June 30, Etihad Rail has already sold more than 70,000 passenger tickets, as travellers begin making use of the UAE’s new national rail network. Two days before the Dubai station officially opened, the UAE President boarded the Etihad Rail from Abu Dhabi to Dubai.
