flydubai announces new flights to popular summer travel destination

DXB-based airline flydubai has launched a second daily flight to a destination to meet overwhelming demand from summer travellers. The airline is set to add an additional flight between Dubai International Airport and Don Mueang International Airport (DMK) in Bangkok from Saturday July 18. flydubai only started its route to Bangkok on Wednesday July 1 but it’s proved to be such a hit with travellers that a second daily flight has quickly been made available. In addition to its existing route to Krabi, the airline will now operate up to 21 weekly flights to Thailand. Codesharing with Emirates, the flights will operate daily from Terminal 3, starting from Dhs3,000 for return economy seats and Dhs11,100 for business seats. Flights depart Dubai at 1.35am and 2.45am, landing in Bangkok at 11.25am and 12.30pm respectively. The return flight will leaves DMK at 1.30pm and 11.50pm, landing back into Dubai at 5.05pm and 3.25am. All times are local. Speaking about the new route, Sudhir Sreedharan, Divisional Senior Vice President of Commercial Operations at flydubai, said: “Just weeks after welcoming Bangkok as our latest destination, we are pleased to build on the strong demand for this route by introducing a second daily flight from Dubai. “Don Mueang International Airport offers convenient access to central Bangkok, making it an attractive option for customers looking to make the most of their time in the city, especially during the busy summer travel period.
