HYROX fans, get excited: HYROX Dubai is officially happening later this year. The two-day HYROX event will take over Dubai on Friday, November 27 and Saturday, November 28, promising to be bigger, better and more high-energy than ever before. While the location and ticket details haven’t dropped yet, you can be the first to hear about it by signing up here. A post shared by HYROX MIDDLE EAST (@hyroxme) The Dubai HYROX event will come just over a month after HYROX lands in Abu Dhabi, so if you’re looking to do back-to-back events in the UAE: this is your sign. HYROX Abu Dhabi has already been confirmed to take place from October 23 to 25, with Friday October 23 a ladies-only day, followed by two days of mixed HYROX racing. Again, you can sign up for tickets for HYROX Abu Dhabi here. Billed as “The World Series of Fitness Racing,” HYROX is a global indoor fitness competition that’s exploded in popularity since launching in Hamburg back in 2017. The format is the same the world over, and alternates eight 1km runs with eight functional workout stations, totalling 8km of running, plus 8 stations. Those stations are always the same: SkiErg, Sled Push, Sled Pull, Burpee Broad Jumps, Rowing, Farmers Carry, Sandbag Lunges and Wall Balls, always tackled in that exact order. Because the course and sequence stay identical at every event worldwide, athletes can compare their times on one single global leaderboard, no matter where they race. Whether you’re a seasoned athlete or a first-timer chasing a new challenge, there are Pro and Open divisions, so it’s open to all abilities. So, if you’ve been thinking about taking on a new fitness challenge, consider this your cue.
