Music lessons have come a long way from sitting at a piano for an hour after school. At Habeati Studios, kids can learn an instrument, sing, play in a band, produce their own music, DJ or even get into hip-hop and breakdancing. If you’re looking for music lessons for kids in Dubai, there’s a lot here to explore. There’s no single route into music here. Kids can take lessons in piano, guitar, drums and singing, as well as other instruments, whether they’re complete beginners or ready to develop what they already know. The idea is to make music a regular part of the week, with time to learn the technical side while finding what they actually enjoy playing. For kids ready to play with others, Habeati Studios runs weekly band rehearsals where students can practise together and work towards concerts and events. The Band Program takes that further, while Recording and Production sessions introduce another side of making music, giving young musicians the chance to start creating their own work. This term brings DJ lessons into the mix, with students learning beat matching, mixing and rhythm on professional equipment. And for those who’d rather move to the music, there’s a new Hip-Hop and Breakdance Program covering movement, coordination, musicality and stage presence. Not sure which direction they’ll take? New students can book a free trial lesson first, giving them a chance to explore Habeati Studios before choosing what comes next. Where: Habeati Studios, Plot 598-1041, Dubai Investment Park 1, Dubai, UAE When: Monday to Saturday, 8am to 7pm Contact: (056) 398 0264 @habeati_studios
