Meet the team bringing major event stages to life

Think about the biggest events you’ve attended. The music, the lights, the performers, the spectacle. Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes to make it all come together? A lot goes into creating that finished stage, from working out how much weight it needs to support to factoring in the venue, weather, equipment and technical requirements. It’s a careful balance of design, engineering and logistics, all coming together before the first performer even steps on stage. That’s where ALL Events Services (AES) comes in. The team works behind the scenes to design, engineer and deliver staging for major events, from international sporting fixtures and huge concerts to corporate productions and cultural celebrations. While audiences might only see the finished structure, there’s plenty of planning and precision involved in making sure it can safely handle everything the production demands. And because no two events (or stages) are the same, AES works with clients to understand their vision before building a staging system around the specific structural, technical and operational requirements of each production. One example of ALL Events Services’ work is the KISS Goodbye 2020 New Year’s Eve concert at Atlantis Dubai. Following the event’s requirements, the team collaborated with Altrad on a Generation Uni-Roof measuring 42.5 metres wide by 26 metres deep. The build was completed in just 11 days by 63 operators, giving a glimpse into the engineering, coordination and staging required to bring a major live production together. Wow.
