More European airlines are returning to Dubai in the coming months

Prepare for takeoff: more major European airlines are set to return to Dubai International Airport (DXB) in the new few months. DXB has confirmed that up to 36 weekly flights between Dubai and major European hubs will be reinstated between October and December. So whether it’s family visiting Dubai, or you’re planning a city break, business trip or ticking a new destination off your travel bucket list, the options just increased significantly. Here’s what you need to know about the airlines flying to Dubai. From October 25, Lufthansa will reinstate flights between DXB and its two major German hubs, Munich and Frankfurt. Both are popular destinations for the festive season, so if you want to plan a city break to discover the Christmas markets, consider this your sign. If you’ve been thinking about discovering Zurich, you’ll be pleased to know FlySwiss will return to DXB from October 27, flying between Dubai and Switzerland’s largest city. The start of next month will see Eurowings return to Dubai with flights from Berlin, Stuttgart and Cologne-Bonn. Dubai will be served daily from Berlin, four times weekly from Stuttgart and three times weekly from Cologne-Bonn, for a total of 14 weekly flights. Fly from Dubai to Vienna just in time for the festive season, with the return of Austrian Airlines service between DXB and Vienna from December 12. Think Christmas markets, classical concerts and dazzling light displays. British Airways has confirmed it will resume flights to Dubai next month, with a daily service from London Heathrow resuming on November 3, increasing to twice daily from next year.
