Looking for a spot to escape the city? Mushrif National Park is one of the best nature spots in Dubai – and it just got better. Dubai Municipality has just opened a new bridge within the rolling greens of the Mushrif National Park. The 102 metre long trail features two distinct pathways, one for mountain bikers and the other exclusively for hikers. The project is a part of a wider effort to make Mushrif National Park the ideal destination for outdoor recreation and adventure. It is also a response to the growing popularity of mountain biking, hiking and nature-based activities that have recently taken centre stage within the region. Commenting on the newest opening, the CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, Bader Anwahi, said, “Our approach to developing Mushrif National Park goes beyond adding individual facilities. We are creating an integrated outdoor destination where adventure, nature and active lifestyles come together. This bridge strengthens that experience and adds a new landmark to Dubai’s largest forest, giving residents and visitors another reason to explore and engage with the park.” ALSO READ: Dubai opens new Al Qudra bridge cutting travel time to 1 minute In recent years Dubai has levelled up in fitness and wellness, and for cyclists, become even easier to explore on two wheels.
