Natural History Museum set to reveal LEGO exhibition this August

Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi is set to launch a new exhibition that will have LEGO fans in the country buzzing with excitement. The LEGO SHOWS Natural Brickstory will launch on August 21, a world-first, limited-time exhibition that invites visitors to explore 13.8 billion years of natural history through creativity, play and hands-on discovery. Made for LEGO fans of all ages, the exhibition will combine brick-building with the museum’s specimens and scientific stories. Visitors will be able to take part in a series of collaborative LEGO builds across themed zones inspired by Earth’s history, wildlife and the cosmos. Each activity brings visitors closer to the natural world through the lens of LEGO as they build, experiment and transform scientific concepts into hands-on creative experiences that spark curiosity and learning. “Play is fundamental to learning and discovery. It sparks curiosity, fuels imagination, and nurtures creativity – the very qualities that drive scientific exploration,” said Dr. Peter C. Kjærgaard, Director of Natural History Museum Abu Dhabi. “Through our collaboration with LEGO SHOWS Natural Brickstory, we are putting play, creativity, and imagination at the heart of the visitor experience. We are building a strong foundation for the next generation of scientists and stewards of our natural world,” he said. While you gear up to get lost in the worlds of natural science and LEGO, the Natural History Museum also features stunning exhibits of life through the ages. Block out enough time in your day to visit the various galleries in the museum, which takes visitors through remarkable specimens, immersive experiences, and a first-hand feeling of being on set at the Night At The Museum movie series.
