There’s no shortage of exciting events heading to Dubai over the next few months, but if you’re looking for a family-friendly show to add to the calendar, this is one you won’t want to miss. Popular circus show PLUMA is returning to the big white top at Dubai Festival City this September. Created by Cirque du Liban and presented by HAT Entertainment, PLUMA brings together a cast of international performers for gravity-defying aerial acts and thrilling acrobatics. The show has been returning every year since 2024, and each time, it cranks things up a notch, giving you a good reason to watch the magic all over again. This time around, expect even more on-the-edge-of-your-seat action and daring acrobatics and aerial performances, paired with some pretty cool 3D projections, spectacular costumes and water elements. The show introduces the audience to a girl called Pluma, which, when translated from Latin, means ‘feather’. Pluma is a little one with big dreams of flying. She finds herself whisked away into another realm where magic is the air one breathes. Here, she meets other beings who offer her age-old secrets of flight. As time goes on, she sprouts her wings, both metaphorically and literally, discovering her potential and nurturing a newfound faith in her abilities. Prices start from Dhs100 per person, and kids under the age of two can enter for free. You can purchase your tickets here. * Everything we know so far about Harry Potter Land Abu Dhabi * Where: Circus tent, Dubai Festival City (outside Dubai Festival City Mall) When: From September 30, Wed to Fri, and Sun, until the end of 2026 Cost: From Dhs100, under 2s go free Contact: @pluma.cirqueduliban
