Renowned Capella Hotels to open a hotel in Dubai

Capella Hotels has been ranked as the World’s Best Hotel Brand for four years in a row by Travel + Leisure, and now Dubai is set to get its first Capella property. The ultra-luxury Capella Dubai resort will form part of an all-star luxury resort line-up at the forthcoming Dubai Peninsula in Jumeirah, rising alongside Aman Dubai and Rosewood Dubai. While most of the details remain under wraps for now, we do know that the property will feature a boutique collection of 106 rooms. The news was revealed by Shahab Lutfi, the Chairman of H&H – the developer behind Dubai Peninsula – in an interview with Bloomberg earlier this year. Further details on what the property will look like – and when it might open – are yet to be revealed. ALSO READ: These iconic hotels are set to transform the UAE First announced last year, Dubai Peninsula is the 210-acre waterfront destination now under construction on what was formerly known as Sunrise Beach, near the Four Seasons Resort Jumeirah. Set to become Dubai’s newest ultra-luxury destination when it opens in 2029, it will offer residential, hospitality, retail, and dining options that are all suitably high-end. So far, we already know that Dubai Peninsula will feature an iconic Aman Resort, an all-suite property unfolding along 350 metres of private beach, complete with a 2,300 square metre spa and an exclusive private members club; as well as Rosewood Dubai, featuring 195 rooms, eight private garden residence villas, four restaurants and immersive programming across art, music and culinary.
