It might only be October but if you’re thinking about how to spend the festive season in Dubai this year then listen up, as a special Carols in the Desert event is taking place this December. Following a sold-out debut in 2025, MINT Market and Arabian Adventures are teaming up to bring three nights of carols in the desert to The Fort Lisaili for three festive evenings on Friday December 18, Saturday December 19 and Sunday December 20. Taking place from 5pm to 10pm, expect Christmas carols under the desert stars courtesy of a Christmas choir, plus live performances and festive entertainment throughout the evening. And the headline act? Santa himself, who’ll be making his grand entrance on a camel. Ticket prices haven’t yet been confirmed, but you can register your interest via mintmarket.ae to be the first to get your hands on them when tickets go on sale in November. A post shared by MINT Market (@mintmarket.ae) Beyond Christmas carols, there will be plenty to look forward to at this magical festive event. Kids can pay a visit to Santa’s grotto, hop on a camel ride and catch a show from Magic Phil, while grown-ups cosy up with a mulled wine and toast marshmallows by the fire. Hungry? A festive BBQ will be fired up, with food and drinks on offer to keep you fuelled from sundown till late. Then there’s the shopping. A dedicated MINT Christmas market will bring together a line-up of UAE homegrown brands, making it the perfect excuse to tick off your Christmas list while supporting local. Where: The Fort – Lisaili When: 5pm to 10pm, December 18 to 20 Tickets: Prices TBC, on sale from November Visit: mintmarket.ae
