Skip the traffic: 20 restaurants near Dubai World Trade Centre to try over ATM

If you’re heading to the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC) or the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC) for the Arabian Travel Market (ATM), brace yourself – crowds and traffic is almost guaranteed. The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) often advises visitors to skip the car and opt for public transport, but even then, you’ll likely face long queues. Add to that the ongoing roadworks on the DWTC roundabout, and congestion is heavier than usual. Instead of stressing behind the wheel (or in line), why not wait it out in comfort and enjoy a meal until the traffic eases up? Sounds like a great plan, and if you’re wondering where to go… Here are 20 great restaurants near Dubai World Trade Centre Walking distance: 20 minutes from DWTC and DICEC At 25hours Hotel Dubai One Central, you can head to Ernst, where you can tuck into Schweinehaxe and other German faves while sipping on a cold beer. There’s also Monkey Bar for upbeat music, delicious sips, bites and maybe some dancing. And if you just want to get off your feet and unwind, there’s Nomad with light bites and coffee.
