UAE President Sheikh Mohamed meets residents in Abu Dhabi

To many shoppers in Abu Dhabi, Tuesday August 11 began like any other normal day. But it quickly turned into an extraordinary outing for those across Abu Dhabi’s malls on Tuesday, as HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nayhan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi paid a surprise visit to Mushrif Mall. Residents and visitors quickly took to social media to share photos and videos of the UAE President smiling and waving as he walked through Abu Dhabi’s Mushrif Mall, happily stopping to talk to residents and take photographs as he carried out his business. While at Mushrif Mall, Sheikh Mohamed took a tour of the bustling Lulu Hypermarket to the surprise of many residents picking up their weekly shop. In the company of MA Yusuff Ali, the Managing Director of the hypermarket, the UAE President greeted shoppers warmly as he went around the store. Mushrif Mall isn’t the only destination in Abu Dhabi the UAE President has visited this week. On Wednesday August 12, he was then spotted at the capital’s Galleria Mall, walking into the renowned Japanese Izakaya, Zuma, with an entourage.
