Where to walk in Dubai to get your 10k steps in

Looking for the best places to get your 10k steps in Dubai? From promenades to parks and beachside paths, there are plenty of scenic spots where you can walk, explore and hit your daily step goal at the same time. The Dubai Creek Harbour Boardwalk is a great place to get your steps in while taking in some of Dubai’s best skyline views. The waterfront path is lined with views of the Burj Khalifa and Dubai Creek, with plenty of space to keep walking without having to worry about traffic. You can also stop at the viewing point, browse the restaurants or take a break at one of the play areas along the way. If you want to clock up 10,000 steps with plenty to look at, Dubai Marina Walk is a solid option. The waterfront walkway winds around the marina, passing skyscrapers, yachts, restaurants and cafes along the way. You can make your walk as long as you like by exploring different sections of the marina or crossing over to continue around the water. The waterfront path stretches along the outer crescent of the Palm, with views of the Marina skyline, Burj Al Arab and Burj Khalifa along the way. You’ll also pass some of the island’s biggest hotels, including Atlantis The Royal, making it an easy walk to turn into a longer stroll. The Walk at JBR is ideal if you like your walks with plenty happening around you. The pedestrian-friendly area is packed with restaurants, cafes, shops and food trucks, with views across to Bluewaters Island and Ain Dubai. You can extend your route by walking along the beach, crossing over to Bluewaters or exploring more of the JBR waterfront. For a walk with plenty of sea views, head to the Jumeirah beachfront. The long promenade runs alongside the coast, giving you plenty of space to walk, jog or simply rack up your daily steps. You can take in views of the Burj Al Arab along the way and stop at the beach whenever you fancy a break. Dubai Hills Park offers a quieter way to get your daily steps in. The park has plenty of walking paths surrounded by greenery, making it easy to keep moving without the crowds and traffic you’ll find in some of Dubai’s busier areas. You can loop around the park and keep going until you hit your 10,000-step target.
