You can now fly from the UAE to Rome for under Dhs900
Air Arabia is set to launch a daily non-stop service between Sharjah International Airport and Rome Fiumicino Airport from Wednesday July 1.

A UAE budget airline has launched low-cost flights to one of the world’s best cities for food, culture and architecture. Air Arabia is now operating five weekly non-stop flights between Sharjah International Airport and Rome Fiumicino Airport. Flights are priced from just Dhs849 for a one-way ticket and around Dhs1,800 for a return ticket between the two cities. Air Arabia operates shuttle services between neighbouring emirates, including a Dhs20 bus from Al Ghurair Centre and Sharjah International Airport. Rome is undoubtedly one of the great global cities, having recently been named the world’s best food destination, in addition to its seemingly endless list of famous historical landmarks and stunning art. Among the many sites to check out for a bit of that La dolce vita are the Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and the Spanish Steps. Air Arabia’s new Roman route is operated by an Airbus A320neo on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. On Mondays and Fridays, flight G90668 will depart Sharjah at 8.10am local time and arrive in Rome at 12.35pm local time. The return flight will leave the Italian capital at 1.35pm local time and arrive in Sharjah at 9.30pm local time.
